Join Reedswood Primary Academy as a Teaching Assistant Level 2, supporting pupils across KS1 or KS2. Key responsibilities:

Support the delivery of high-quality learning activities under the direction of the teacher. Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and resilience. Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to access learning and participate fully in academy life Promote positive behaviour and support pupils in developing appropriate social skills Recognise and respond appropriately to wellbeing and safeguarding concerns

Pay range:

NJC SCP 6-9 £20,740.77 - £21,749.73 (FTE: £26,847 - £28,153) Full Time, 32.5 hours Per week Term Time only, 39 weeks Per year Fixed Term Until 31st July 2027.

Qualifications and Skills:

GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent) Ability to support teaching and learning effectively within a classroom environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, colleagues, parents/carers and other stakeholders Ability to adapt support and learning activities to meet the needs of individual pupils.
