Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant 20-30 hours per week Term time only Fixed term until 31st August 2027 Upper Arley CE Primary School is a happy, nurturing and inclusive rural school set in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside. We are proud of our strong Christian values, dedicated staff team and supportive school community. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small village school where every member of staff makes a significant contribution to children's learning, wellbeing and development.

We are looking for someone who:

-Has experience of working with primary-aged children. -Is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential. -Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and the wider community. -Demonstrates patience, flexibility and enthusiasm. -Can work effectively as part of a team and use their own initiative. -Has high expectations for behaviour, learning and personal development. -Is willing to support children across a range of ages within our mixed-age classes. -Supports and values the Christian ethos of our school.

The successful candidate will:

-Support teaching and learning within the classroom. -Work with individual pupils and small groups to promote progress and attainment. -Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment. -Support children with additional learning and pastoral needs where appropriate. -Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
