Teaching Assistant Heathside School Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 8UZ Starting September 2026 5 days per week - 35hrs 38.4 weeks term time only, Working Pattern 8:00am - 4:00pm Salary Grade ELM3(FTE £24,520) Actual Salary 35 hours (5 days) - £20,193 per annum Join our vibrant and welcoming school community at Heathside Weybridge, where every member of staff plays a vital role in helping our students thrive. We are looking for a motivated, caring, and proactive Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young people and making a difference to their educational journey. In this varied and rewarding role, you will work closely with students and teachers to nurture learning, build confidence, and help create a positive and engaging classroom environment. You will need to communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and bring a professional, flexible approach to everything you do. Strong IT and administrative skills are key, and above all, you’ll have a genuine commitment to supporting the success and wellbeing of our students. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates or individuals considering a future career in teaching. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a supportive secondary school setting, with opportunities to develop your skills and explore potential pathways into teacher training.
