About the role

Bartholomew School “Pupils flourish at this exceptional school” Ofsted 2024 Teaching Assistant LGPS: Grade 4, Points 04-05, (£25,185 - £25,583) pro rata Actual: £17,122 - £17,392 pa We are seeking to recruit, for as soon as possible, a motivated and skilled Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Support team. The post will be permanent, for 30 hours per week term time only. Hours will be 8.40am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.40am to 3.05pm on a Friday. Remuneration will be on the Local Government Pay Spine (LGPS) at Grade 4, Points 04-05, £25,185 to £25,583 (£13.09 - £13.30 per hour) Actual: £17,122 - £17,392pa. The successful candidate will find the position to be varied and stimulating. Our Teaching Assistants regularly support students with special educational needs across a wide variety of subject areas, either inside or outside of the classroom environment. Some experience of working in a secondary school environment would be an advantage.
