The Batt School and St Mary’s Infant School are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting individual pupils to thrive. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and Inclusion Lead to provide personalised support, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where the pupil feels valued, safe, and encouraged to succeed. The role also involves support pupils who may experience challenges with emotional regulation, helping them to feel safe, calm, and ready to learn. This role is suitable for both experienced Teaching Assistants and those who are enthusiastic and passionate about beginning a career in education, particularly in supporting pupils with special educational needs.
