About the role

We are recruiting for a Temporary 1:1 Level 1 Teaching Assistant Required for ASAP Salary: Grade 2 SCP 4 (£26,016.00) FTE AYR - to be pro rata Actual salary: £19,726.26 - £20,172.41 per annum 5 days, 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks (TTO + Training Days) At St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Worcester, part of Emmaus Multi Academy Company, we are so much more than a school - we are a close-knit, supportive family where Christ’s love is reflected in all that we do. We are looking to recruit a temporary Level 1 Teaching Assistant for a child in Reception with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) who requires consistent 1:1 adult support throughout the school day to access learning, support emotional regulation and develop communication skills. This provision is delivered in collaboration with the class teacher and SENCo. The dedicated Teaching Assistant provides responsive scaffolding, supports understanding and interaction and facilitates engagement in both structured activities and continuous provision, including transitions, indoor and outdoor learning, playtimes and lunchtimes.
