About the role

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Advanced Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant, inclusive, and high-performing primary school where every child is nurtured, challenged, and celebrated. At Poppleton Ousebank Primary School , we pride ourselves on creating an inclusive and stimulating environment that supports academic excellence and emotional wellbeing. The Advanced Teaching Assistant will have a passion for inclusive education and helping to develop a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and empowered to succeed. This role is central to promoting positive wellbeing, involving the delivery of targeted interventions and emotional support to help overcome barriers to learning so all children can access classroom teaching. You will use your expertise to adapt support, develop independence and collaborate closely with teachers, our SENDCo and other senior leaders to ensure all pupils, including those with additional needs, can access a rich and engaging curriculum and thrive both academically and personally.
