Job description

About You: Woodlands Primary Academy are seeking an organised, approachable, and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated team. You’ll be the first point of contact for families and visitors, so a warm, professional manner is essential. You show initiative, are solution-focused, and bring fresh ideas to improve processes and procedures. A good understanding of safeguarding is vital, as is your ability to handle sensitive situations with care and discretion. If you're confident using office systems, thrive in a busy environment, and enjoy being at the heart of a supportive school community. Our Ideal candidate will have: GCSE English and Maths, minimum Grade 4 or equivalent Experience in working with children and young people Understanding of the significance of highly effective school administration Effective use of IT and highly effective organisational skills Experience in dealing with and managing first aid incidents
