Greenwood Primary and Nursery School is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic experienced administrative assistant to join our existing team. About the Role You will be the first point of contact for families, visitors and staff, so a friendly, calm and professional manner is essential. The role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, handle confidential information with discretion and work efficiently within established systems and processes. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality administrative support across the school, following established systems and processes Manage and maintain accurate records, including pupil, staffing and financial information Act as a professional and welcoming first point of contact for parents, visitors and external agencies Undertake financial procedures such as processing orders Produce reports and manage data accurately using a range of IT systems including Arbor Maintain confidentiality at all times and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed Support the wider office team and contribute to the efficient running of the school We are looking for someone who has: A good standard of literacy and numeracy and relevant administrative experience Is highly organised, efficient and able to manage a varied workload Has strong IT skills and confidence working with data and management systems Demonstrates professionalism, discretion and integrity when handling sensitive information Communicates effectively with a wide range of people Is flexible, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team Reflects our values and contributes positively to our school community We Can Offer A commitment to people across our partnership, underpinned by our people principles: adaptability, wellness, recognising achievement, employee voice and engagement, professional development and growth, inclusivity, and collaboration.
