About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Reception and Administration Assistant to join our busy school office team. This is an exciting opportunity to become the first point of contact for visitors, parents, students and staff, providing a professional and welcoming reception service whilst delivering high-quality administrative support across the school. The role includes reception duties, administrative support, organising meetings and appointments, maintaining records and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the school. This position is contracted on a 30 hours per week Term Time Only basis (4 days per week, 8-4pm Monday, Wednesday-Friday) . This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. Job Purpose To act as the first point of contact for all visitors to the school. To provide a professional and welcoming presence in Reception. To provide confidential administrative support to the school.

Key Skills and Experience

Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent. Experience working in a school environment would be advantageous. Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role.
