About the role

HELP US SHAPE THE FUTURE OF TECHNOLOGY AT KINGSHILL We are looking for an IT/AV Technician to join our friendly, busy IT team and play a key role in supporting our students and staff. This is an exciting time to join Kingshill. We are embarking on an IT modernisation programme, and you will work alongside our IT Manager to support, maintain and develop the technology that keeps the school connected and learning. No two days will be quite the same. From troubleshooting hardware and software and supporting Windows and Microsoft 365, to maintaining devices, networks and AV equipment, you will provide practical, responsive support across the school. There is also potential to be involved in a future transition to Google. What are we looking for?

  • IT support experience
  • Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and common applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • The ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
  • Clear, helpful communication skills
  • A positive approach to supporting students and colleagues
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience of education IT, Microsoft networks, Google Workspace or educational software would be an advantage, but is not essential. A formal IT qualification is also desirable rather than essential. Why Kingshill? At Cirencester Kingshill School, our ambition is Shaping Greater Futures. We want every student to feel known, valued and successful, and every colleague has an important part to play in making that happen.

  • Local Government Pension Scheme
  • An annual ‘Me Day’, subject to terms and conditions
  • 25.5 days’ annual leave, rising to 30.5 days after five years’ continuous service, plus statutory holidays
  • Employee Assistance Programme and Occupational Health support
  • Free Access to a Wellbeing App
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • On-site parking and cycle storage
  • Professional development and training opportunities
