Join Our Team as Catering Manager at Astrea Academy Sheffield! Are you a passionate and experienced catering professional ready to lead a dynamic team and deliver exceptional food experiences? Astrea Academy Sheffield is seeking a Catering Manager to oversee our catering operations and inspire excellence in every meal served. Location: Astrea Academy Sheffield Hours: 37 hours/week (Term-time only, 40 weeks/year) Salary: £28,374 - £30,506 (Pro-rata) Working Pattern: 07:00-15:00 Mon-Thu | 07:30-15:00 Fri About the Role As Catering Manager, you will lead a team of cooks and catering assistants to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals in a safe, welcoming environment. You’ll be responsible for: Planning menus in collaboration with the central catering team Managing food orders, budgets, and HACCP records Leading and motivating staff, organising rotas, and ensuring adequate cover Maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction Enhancing our food offering and managing multiple dining spaces and sittings Supporting staff development and conducting performance reviews What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone with: Experience in professional kitchens and preparing fresh food Proven leadership in catering environments Strong organisational, communication, and decision-making skills Knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and HACCP principles A proactive, flexible approach and commitment to excellence A professional catering qualification and Food Hygiene certification (desirable) Why Join Astrea?
