Class Teacher (Primary)
Location: Hallmoor School, 50 Scholars Gate, Kitt's Green, Birmingham, B33 0DL Contract: Full time, Permanent Start Date: 01-01-2027

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a primary Class Teacher to join Hallmoor School. Hallmoor School is an inclusive, forward-thinking and popular specialist school for pupils aged 5 to 19 years with a range of diagnosis including Severe Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs. The number on roll has increased to almost 300 children in recent years with further growth expected. The Class Teacher will support school activities where required, including attending educational trips, extra-curricular activities and parents’ evenings, which may require some out-of-hours availability.

Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider multidisciplinary team
Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with EHCP targets
Actively promote safeguarding
Hold QTS qualification
