About May Park Primary School May Park Primary School is a 3-11 community academy in East Central Bristol and a proud member of the Excalibur Academies Trust. We are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to lead a class of pupils with Autism and Speech, Language and Communication needs. Our provision is designed to nurture communication, interaction, and early social skills, underpinned by our school values of Respect, Resilience, Curiosity, Achievement, Equality, and Creativity. We are seeking an inspiring Resource Base Teacher to design, plan and deliver high‑quality, engaging learning experiences for all pupils. You will lead and direct a dedicated team of Learning Support Assistants, working collaboratively to maximise their skills and expertise. Across the school, we promote the use of specialist and shared spaces, from sensory areas to outdoor learning environments, to motivate, regulate, and inspire pupils. This approach ensures children feel supported, engaged, and ready to learn in contexts that build independence and confidence.
