Cleaner

Cleaner - 1 permanent position and 1 maternity cover position available. Salary: £12.81 per hour plus benefits including: Local Government Pension, Health Care Cash Plan, Generous Staff Discount scheme, at least one personal leave day per year. We're looking for a Cleaner to join our team at The Hyndburn Academy, to ensure a clean internal environment of the school premises to support the professional delivery of the school curriculum. Key responsibilities include: To ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the school on a daily basis. To use cleaning materials appropriately in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and COSHH regulations and/or as directed by your supervisor, to inform the supervisor when stocks are low. All cleaners are required to contribute to major cleaning tasks during main school holidays To clean internal windows including door glass and external windows (ground level only) on a planned rotation To be aware of their responsibilities for Health & Safety and fire safety, appropriate training will be given for this.
