About the role

Cleaner - 3 Positions available Smithdon High School are looking for Cleaners to join their site team to clean designated areas of the school. Start Date: ASAP Permanent Salary: Scale A, Pt 3, £13.27 per hour 2 x Posts Available for: Hours: 20 hours /week Monday-Friday Either 6am to 10am or 2pm to 6pm. 44 weeks/year (term time +6 weeks) 1x Post Available for: Hours: 25 hours /week 1pm to 6pm Monday to Friday 44 weeks/year (term time +6 weeks) Email: recruitment@westnorfolkacademiestrust.co.uk Website: https://www.smithdonhigh.org.uk/ About the Role Responsibilities will include, but not restricted to, emptying bins, wiping desks, vacuuming, mopping, buffing, washing surfaces and cleaning toilet areas and any other general cleaning tasks as required. Responsibilities, but not limited to: · To clean a designated area of the school to the standard laid down by the school. Cleaning tasks to include vacuuming, mopping, buffing, washing surfaces, removing graffiti and chewing gum and cleaning toilet areas · General cleaning tasks as required · To provide relief cover during times of staff absence · To replenish sanitary materials (toilet paper, paper towels and soap) · To periodically clean the store rooms in the designated areas · To ensure the cleaning equipment is kept in clean and working order · Deep cleans during school closures For a full job description please click the link below.
