We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Head Teacher who: has proven leadership and management skills at a senior level in an educational setting for students with profound and complex learning needs to maximize opportunities for all, can ensure the effective day to day organisation of the school and can deliver and develop a high-quality provision for all our students, continually improving standards for learning and teaching across the school. can work in partnership with the Headteacher, the wider team, Governing Body and other stakeholders to create a clear vision, direction and operational framework for the school. is forward thinking and creative in their approach to school leadership, committed to making a strong contribution to the development of the school and the development of staff. can build effective, positive relationships and work collaboratively with all stakeholders including parents/carers, therapy teams and other external agencies and specialist services to support the development of our students and ensure the best outcomes possible. This is a fantastic, challenging, but above all rewarding opportunity to support some of the most vulnerable young people in our community. Wren Spinney supports 97 students with a range of learning needs including severe, complex, profound & multiple learning difficulties, and the majority of whom will have additional needs such as sensory difficulties or autism.
