About the role

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic teaching professional who is passionate about helping every child thrive? We are looking for a committed and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play an important role in supporting teaching and learning, working alongside colleagues to inspire pupils, raise achievement and create positive learning experiences. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and colleagues to support high-quality learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include: Planning, preparing and delivering engaging learning activities for individuals, groups and whole classes. Leading whole-class learning in the absence of the class teacher. Supporting pupils to achieve their academic, social and emotional potential. Working collaboratively with teachers to assess, monitor and report on pupil progress. Delivering targeted interventions to help pupils make strong progress. Supporting the inclusion and engagement of pupils with additional learning needs. Playing an active role in the wider life and community of the school. About You We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference and who can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues. You will: Hold HLTA status, or have an equivalent qualification and relevant experience. Have recent experience of working within a primary school setting. Demonstrate strong literacy, numeracy and communication skills. Be confident in inspiring, motivating and engaging young learners. Show initiative, flexibility and a commitment to high standards. Be a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
