Job description

We are looking to appoint a fully qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team to support children and classes across the school, as well as taking on short periods of cover for absent teachers. We are looking for a creative, passionate professional to join our friendly church school. We’d love to meet someone who will be anactive member of our team as we continue to grow and developtogether, striving to offer our children the best experience possible. In time, the role may evolve to take on PPA cover for the right person. If you have a passion for music, computing, art or another specialism, this could be just the role for you! The successful candidate will: Be confident, creative and adaptable, able to lead group and whole class teaching Have excellent communication skills, able to share and uphold clear expectations Believe in a restorative and relational approach to behaviour management Be nurturing, encouraging and friendly, able to support positive well-being across the school Have a range of interests with the desire to enable ‘life in all its fullness’ Encourage, motivate and value every child Believe in a broad and balanced curriculum Have the aspiration to make a positive and successful contribution to our school wide family Be supportive of our Christian ethos and values. The role will involve ad-hoc cover of classes, intervention support, and may grow to include PPA cover.
