Higher Level Teaching Assistant

The school wishes to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and imaginative HLTA to work within the Key Stage 2 phase, and to support the learning of pupils. This is post is to commence as soon as possible. Sunnyside Academy is an inclusive primary school situated in Coulby Newham with 270+ pupils from the surrounding area. The school also has special needs resource bases for children with communication, sensory impairment and for children with moderate learning difficulties. The successful candidate will: Work with teachers, within the Key Stage 2 phase, to support teaching and learning through leading on the provision of support to both the teachers and school, including covering classes, supporting pupils with behavioural/emotional needs and leading interventions.
