Job description

The Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) supports teaching and learning by working closely with teachers to deliver high-quality educational experiences for pupils. The HLTA takes responsibility for planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities, including leading whole-class teaching in the absence of the teacher where appropriate. The role aims to promote pupils' academic achievement, personal development, and wellbeing while supporting an inclusive and positive learning environment.
