Intervention Tutor

If you have experience of working with young people aged 11 - 16 and if you are passionate about shaping young lives and making a real difference in the classroom, we invite you to apply for this new role at St Bede's. You will have a talent for engaging children and you thrive in a nurturing and supportive environment . You will be working with children who are struggling to meet their target grades and provide academic support to allow them to catch up. This role will have a focus on key stage 3, but may also include some students at KS4 - you will work flexibly across all age groups and abilities. There will be opportunities to develop your career within the school which allows you to make a valued contribution to our children's learning. This is a permanent role starting from 1st September 2026. You will be working for 35 hours per week (8:30am - 4pm), term time only. Assist with the planning, differentiation and preparation of intervention strategies. Promote the well-being of our student’s providing guidance and support Establish supportive relationships with pupils, allowing them to feel valued and listened to and encouraging questions and ideas.
