About the role

Are you passionate about education and looking for a fulfilling career? We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant to join our community focused and supportive team at Lift Bexleyheath. We are a friendly and helpful team who are open to applicants with experience within any key stage group. Y ou're someone who'll be able to: Improve the learning and attainment of students while also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. Supervise classroom activities Support speech and language interventions Support students so that they can; access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement Be a warm and friendly face to students and parents Be flexible to work across any area of the school as required You're someone who has Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification - advantageous if you have level 3. GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or above) Experience supporting children in any Key Stage Knowledge of strategies to support pupils with SEND Understanding of child development and how children learn Positive behaviour management experience UK right to work - we are unable offer sponsorship for this position About Lift Bexleyheath Lift Bexleyheath is a welcoming and inclusive secondary school with a strong sense of community.
