About the role

Learning Support Assistant FTE salary: £26,847.00 - £27,274.00 Actual salary: £18,369.48 - £18,661.65 Fixed term contact until August 2027 (with the potential opportunity to extend) Monday to Friday - 30 hours per week with a 30 minute unpaid break. Term time only plus 2 training days. Applications close date: Midday on Tuesday 13th October 2026 Date of short listing: Tuesday 13th October 2026 We wish to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support children with special educational needs. The successful applicant will need to have a patient, positive and kind attitude, with excellent communication skills and a genuine love of working with children. Working as part of a team, you will need to be calm, flexible, dedicated and be able to form positive relationships with staff and children. You will be working with individual pupils and alongside other children in the class to support their learning. The successful candidate will receive training from the Inclusion team.
