Job description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our caring, friendly and hard-working team, to work on a one-to-one basis with a child. As well as having a strong understanding of building strong relationships with adults and children, we are also looking for someone who can use their initiative. The post may involve working with children to support one-to-one and lead small group interventions. Working Pattern: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 08:45 - 15:15 and Tuesday 08:15 - 15:15 (with half-hour unpaid lunch each day ) The successful candidate will need to: Hold a relevant qualification at NVQ Level 2 or above Have some experience of working with children with a range of special educational needs Have a caring nature Be able to communicate effectively with children and adults Be able to work as part of a team In return we can offer: Friendly experienced team Training Access to the local government pension scheme A wellbeing package including an annual term-time wellbeing day and Employee Assistance Programme Cycle to work scheme Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust (EFSPT) is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment.
