Learning Support Assistant

Working under the guidance of teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision, you will implement an agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom. You will also undertake cover supervisor duties where required by the Academy Principal. This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting teachers in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. The role includes liaison with staff and other relevant professionals; taking small group intervention sessions and supporting the aims and ethos of the school.
