Learning Support Assistant

Yattendon School is a friendly, three-form entry junior school, based in Horley, Surrey, providing a strong supportive caring environment where children thrive, grow and achieve. We have an exciting opportunity to be part of our dynamic and developing organisation, benefiting a new all-weather sports pitch and a major refurbishment of classrooms, we are able to offer you and our children a modern and dynamic learning environment. We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who cares about providing both academic and nurture support in class for our wonderful children. Your role will be to work as part of a supportive team to enhance the teaching and learning opportunities for pupils, particularly those with additional learning needs. We would be particularly interested in candidates with relevant experience supporting SEND children and experience working with children with ASD and ADHD in a school or childcare setting. Working hours are 8:45am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday, 28.75 hours per week, over 38 weeks per annum. Working day includes a 30 minute unpaid break.
