About the role

Depending on the skillset and experience of successful candidates, a year group will be allocated on appointment (EYFS to Year 6) and will involve working with children that have a specific area of need e.g. Visual Impairment, Communication and Interaction (including ASD), Cognition and Learning, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, Sensory and/or Physical needs. You will work in close partnership with the class and cohort team to adapt provision for children and ensure they have access to the curriculum, as well as with supportive external agencies and the SENCO. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge around meeting needs in a school setting.
