Location: Edith Moorhouse Primary School, Carterton[cite: 1, 2] Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only Hours: 5 hours per week (12:00pm - 1:00pm, Monday to Friday) Actual Salary: £2,809.53 (Grade 3) Closing Date: Tuesday 3rd September - 10 a.m. Interview Date: date to be confirmed Start Date: 1st September 2026 or as soon as possible after this date Why This Role Matters Our lunchtime team ensures that the midday break is a positive, structured, and social experience. You are not just supervising an hour; you are the consistent, trusted adult our pupils can turn to if they are troubled, ensuring their safety and welfare across the dining hall and playground. What You’ll Bring A calm, patient, and positive approach to supporting children with their social skills and play. The ability to work effectively within a committed team to manage dining hall routines, including helping children with trays and maintaining a clean environment. A proactive attitude toward supervising outdoor play safely, including monitoring activities on our popular trim trail. Excellent communication skills to report incidents clearly and follow school procedures. A strong commitment to safeguarding principles and the welfare of young people.
