Lunchtime Supervisor

Moorcroft Wood Academy is a one form entry primary school; situated next to Moorcroft Wood, we are extremely lucky to have extensive school grounds. We promote self-esteem, enabling pupils to enjoy learning and achieve their full potential within a happy, caring and friendly environment. We are proud to be part of the Lighthouse Multi Academy Trust, made up of nine schools all working collaboratively. We are seeking to appoint a lunchtime supervisor to work alongside our current team for a fixed term until 31/08/2027. The successful candidates will: Actively engage with children during lunch time Have the ability to remain calm and fair whilst upholding the school’s policies Relate well with children of all ages. Be a role model for children by treating them with respect and acting fairly but assertively in implementing the school’s policies Understand safeguarding and how to report any concerns appropriately Previous experience as a lunchtime supervisor or experience of working with children on a regular basis is desired Assist children in the dinner hall to choose and eat a healthy lunch, encouraging the use of good manners and social skills and ensuring a clean and safe environment Be able to work as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances. The successful applicant will then be required to undertake an enhanced DBS and other pre-employment checks.
