About HEART Academies Trust HEART Academies Trust formed in 2017 and currently consists of one secondary school, Bedford Academy and five partner primary schools, Cauldwell School, Goldington Green Academy, Shackleton Primary, Shortstown Primary and Wilstead Primary. We are a non-profit making charitable company sponsored by the Harpur Trust, one of the largest charities in the UK. With a proven track-record in education through their ownership and management of four Harpur Trust private schools in Bedford and as a sponsor of Bedford Academy since its creation in 2010, they are the perfect partner to support HEART Academies Trust as we grow. Main Duties Include: Undertake the opening and closing of Trust premises and maintain site security procedures. Undertake general maintenance repairs, decorating and grounds upkeep. Operate systems such as heating, lighting, ventilation etc. Complete various mandatory health & safety checks including those related to fire and security systems, COSHH, water hygiene, electric, gas etc. Be proactive and enthusiastic in undertaking training to improve and enhance skills. 30 hours all year around 4 days per week - days to be agreed with both parties 08:00-16:00
