Job description

You'll work as part of the team responsible for keeping our school safe, secure, well maintained and welcoming. Your work will include: General repairs and maintenance; Maintaining buildings and grounds; Routine health, safety and compliance checks; Opening and securing the school; Supporting contractors and improvement works; Responding to day-to-day maintenance requests; Supporting deliveries, events and room setups; and Helping maintain high standards across the site. The team works across planned AM, Day and PM shifts , with rota's provided in advance. About you We're looking for someone who: Is practical and willing to get stuck in; Takes pride in doing a job well; Is reliable and works well as part of a team; Can organise and prioritise their work; Communicates well with others; Understands the importance of working safely; and Wants to learn and develop. Previous maintenance, estates or trade experience would be useful, but attitude, practical ability and willingness to learn are just as important to us. Develop with us We want this to be a role you can grow in. You'll receive the training needed to carry out the role safely and confidently, with opportunities to develop practical and estates management skills through courses, qualifications and potential apprenticeship routes .
