Maintenance Operative

You'll work as part of the team responsible for keeping our school safe, secure, well maintained and welcoming. Your work will include: General repairs and maintenance; Maintaining buildings and grounds; Routine health, safety and compliance checks; Opening and securing the school; Supporting contractors and improvement works; Responding to day-to-day maintenance requests; Supporting deliveries, events and room setups; and Helping maintain high standards across the site. The team works across planned AM, Day and PM shifts , with rota's provided in advance. About you We're looking for someone who: Is practical and willing to get stuck in; Takes pride in doing a job well; Is reliable and works well as part of a team; Can organise and prioritise their work; Communicates well with others; Understands the importance of working safely; and Wants to learn and develop. Previous maintenance, estates or trade experience would be useful, but attitude, practical ability and willingness to learn are just as important to us.
