A prestigious independent day school in Wiltshire is seeking an outstanding Maths Teacher to join from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach GCSE and A-Level Maths in small, high-attaining classes and support a thriving Sixth Form.

The Role – What You’ll Do • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons at KS4–KS5, aligned to current specifications.
• Use AFL, feedback, and data to secure strong pupil progress.
• Support stretch and challenge through Maths Olympiads, problem-solving clubs, and enrichment pathways.
• Contribute to departmental planning, schemes of work, and exam preparation.
• Maintain an ordered learning environment with high expectations.
• Engage in wider school life including tutor responsibilities and academic events.
Person Specification Essential
• Degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
• QTS/PGCE and experience at KS4 or KS5.
• Strong mathematical knowledge and curriculum understanding.
• Effective communication and behaviour management.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
Desirable
• Experience improving outcomes in exam cohorts.
• Ability to support Further Maths desirable (not essential).
• Experience with enrichment such as Maths Challenges.
