Join Our Team at Parkside School as a Maths Teacher (Maternity Cover) Parkside School is seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team on a 1 year fixed term maternity cover position. In this role, you will teach Mathematics across all key stages, setting high expectations that inspire, motivate and challenge pupils across the full age and ability range. You will play a pivotal role in delivering a well structured curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the progress, inclusion and well being of every student. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver and assess high quality Mathematics lessons across key stages, adapting teaching to meet diverse pupil needs. Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management in line with school values. Make productive use of assessment data to track pupil progress and set appropriate homework. Contribute actively to whole school priorities, including literacy and embedding a love of reading. What we are looking for Graduate with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics. Experience teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 teaching experience/knowledge is desirable). A proven track record of consistently strong classroom practice and high expectations for all students. Ability to employ effective behaviour management strategies and utilise ICT to enhance learning. Commitment to safeguarding, child protection and promoting equal opportunities.
