Job description

St Andrews Primary Academy in Chardstock are looking for a Mealtime Assistant to cover 5 lunchtimes per week for 1 hour per day. We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate who: Will be responsible for a safe and calm dining experience. Will be able to build a rapport with children. Will be able to support children during their lunchtime provision both in the dining room and on the playground. Will be able to liaise both written and verbally with other school staff. Will be physically able to lift and move tables and chairs as part of the setup and clear-down for lunchtime. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this post.
