About the Role

As a Lunchtime Dining Hall Assistant, you will help supervise students during the busy lunch period, supporting the smooth operation of our dining facilities and promoting positive behaviour throughout the school environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing dining areas before students arrive. Supervising students during lunchtime. Managing queues and helping maintain an orderly environment. Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners. Supporting students where required and reporting any concerns. Ensuring dining spaces are left clean, tidy and ready for afternoon lessons. A successful lunchtime period is vital in helping students return to lessons settled, refreshed and ready to learn. As part of our team, you will make a valuable contribution to the wellbeing and daily experience of our students. What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

Enjoys working with children and young people. Has good communication and interpersonal skills. Is approachable, patient and positive. Can work effectively as part of a team. Is reliable, organised and able to use their initiative. Previous experience in a school environment is welcome but not essential, as full support and training will be provided.
