Pastoral Support Officer

The Role As Pastoral Support Officer, you will work closely with the pastoral team, teaching staff, and senior leaders to support students in overcoming barriers to learning. Key responsibilities include: • Supporting pupils with behaviour, attendance, and wellbeing needs • Working with students on a one-to-one or small group basis to promote positive engagement • Monitoring attendance and supporting strategies to improve it • Assisting with safeguarding processes and pastoral interventions • Liaising with parents, carers, and external agencies where required • Supporting the implementation of behaviour policies and restorative practices You will play a key role in helping students remain engaged in education and achieve their full potential.
