Role Overview The Pastoral Support Officer will support students’ emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and attendance. Key responsibilities include: • Supporting students with behavioural or emotional needs • Working closely with Heads of Year • Monitoring behaviour and intervention plans • Supporting reintegration meetings • Liaising with parents • Recording pastoral concerns accurately • Supporting attendance improvement strategies • Assisting with safeguarding referrals • Coordinating mentoring support • Supporting restorative practices This role requires patience, resilience, and strong relationship-building skills.
