Job description

The Westminster School is looking to appoint a PE Teacher to join our School.For the right candidate, this role could provide a pathway into teaching, supporting an unqualified teacher to gain experience and work towards achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality PE lessons and our School benefits from excellent sports facilities and pupils who enjoy taking part in physical activities. Our School is extremely successful and employs a range of dynamic teaching methods and is committed to innovative curriculum development and its practices put it at the forefront of learning and teaching nationally and throughout the West Midlands region. As a qualified, dynamic and motivated teacher, you will bring a genuine passion for making a positive impact in pupils’ lives. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to fulfil that ambition by supporting students with moderate learning difficulties and additional needs, empowering them to thrive and ensuring that they are fully prepared and supported for life beyond education. You will also play a key role in monitoring and assessing students’ progress, ensuring their personal development and wellbeing are nurtured alongside their educational achievements. We’re seeking a passionate educator and skilled communicator who can connect meaningfully with pupils who have diverse and complex needs and who is eager to contribute to the school’s vision and direction.
