SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant with Medical Responsibilities to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils. This is a role where you’ll combine your passion for education with specialist medical care for a child with significant needs. You’ll be at the heart of our inclusive school community—supporting learning, inspiring independence, and ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and able to thrive. What You’ll Do Provide vital medical support (including tracheostomy and gastrostomy care).

Work alongside teachers to raise attainment and promote inclusion.

Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and professionals.

Champion safeguarding and wellbeing across the school.

What We’re Looking For GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above).

Experience working with children or young people in education.

Calm, resilient, and enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication skills.

A commitment to equality, safeguarding, and helping every child reach their potential.

Willingness to undertake paediatric first aid training.
