SEN Teaching Assistant

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Assistant (SENDA) We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised and compassionate Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Assistant (SENDA) to join our dedicated team. This exciting role will work closely with the Deputy Head of School/SENDCo and Teaching Assistants to support the coordination and delivery of high-quality SEND provision, helping every child to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting EHCP applications and annual reviews, coordinating SEND provision, maintaining accurate records, liaising with parents and external agencies, monitoring pupil progress and supporting intervention programmes. You will also work as part of the safeguarding team, contributing to the delivery of effective safeguarding, child protection and Early Help support across the school.

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children with SEND. Has a good understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and inclusive practice. Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Has excellent communication, administration and ICT skills. Can build positive relationships with pupils, families, colleagues and external professionals. Is committed to improving outcomes for children and young people. Has experience of EHCP processes, Early Help and multi-agency working (desirable).
