About the role

We are looking to appoint inspirational Teaching Assistants due to increasing pupil numbers. These positions are both fixed term until 31st August 2027 (but will be reviewed and may become permanent if numbers remain raised) there are also possible permanent positions. GSSC focuses on meeting the needs of all pupils, both collectively and individually. We are committed to providing an enjoyable, quality holistic education for all our pupils within a friendly atmosphere, where they can fulfil their potential, grow in confidence, self-esteem and most importantly be happy individuals. Pupils are fostered academically and socially through a stimulating creative holistic curriculum and environment. We aim for every pupil to reach their full potential in all areas of their school life with a strong emphasis on skills for life, and resilience for learning As a member of our team you will support the physical and emotional wellbeing of all of our young people, alongside supporting their academic, social and personal growth whilst also supporting their personal care. We are particularly interested in hearing not only from people with a background or experience in schools but also in health and care, to support our young people with complex medical needs. Closing date is 9.00am on Monday 28th September 2026 and Interviews will be held on Friday 2nd October 2026. If invited to interview, please be prepared to spend the whole day with us.
