Solihull Sixth Form College is a large, culturally diverse specialist in A Levels and Level 3 BTEC qualifications, and part of the Summit Learning Trust. We are seeking a dedicated individual with a passion for providing exceptional support and making a positive impact on a young person’s educational success. You will join a supportive and nurturing Additional Learning Support Team, committed to meeting the ever-changing educational and disability needs of our learners. You will also contribute to delivering and developing support for Young Adult Carers within the College by providing tailored individual learner assistance and promoting awareness across all members of the college. The ideal candidate will be ambitious for our learners and dedicated to helping learners with additional needs or young adult carers reach their full potential. This role involves working with learners both inside and outside the classroom, collaborating closely with teachers, parents, carers and external agencies and providing support for both academic and personal needs. You will be educated to at least level 3 or above or equivalent and have experience and understanding of providing support to others, ideally to learners in a Level 3, post 16 learning environment. The successful candidate must be available to work on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with flexibility to agree remaining hours on other days. Why Join Summit Learning Trust?
