Job description

Thomas Gainsborough School Teacher of English Contract: Fixed-term until 31/12/2026. Full-time. Salary: MPR Start date: September 2026 Thomas Gainsborough School is a large, vibrant secondary school and sixth form, proud to serve over 1600 students. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking teacher of English to join our thriving team. The post will involve teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of long term A Level teaching for suitably qualified candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for colleagues at any stage of their career, whether newly qualified or experienced, and may particularly suit those looking to relocate or re-join the profession.
