About the role

Location: Kettering Buccleuch Academy Salary: ULT Teachers’ Pay Range (£36,400 - £53,040) Closing date: 12th October 2026 Required for: January 2027 Kettering Buccleuch Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious Teacher of Art to join our dedicated and supportive team on a permanent contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and creative practitioner to inspire students and contribute to the continued development of Art across the Academy. About You You will have Qualified Teacher Status and be an inspiring and creative practitioner with the ability to achieve success within a secondary school setting. You will have a passion for Art and the ability to deliver engaging, creative and challenging lessons that inspire students to develop their artistic skills, knowledge and confidence. You will have high expectations of what our students can achieve and be committed to supporting them to reach their full potential. You will have good interpersonal skills, sound behaviour management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will be able to form and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students and adults working in the school. You will enjoy the challenge of contributing positively to the work, ethos and values of the Academy and be willing to go above and beyond in this important role.
