Teacher (Main Scale) - Key Stage Two Contract Type: Opportunities for a permanent post, and a fixed term post until 31 August 2027. Pay Grade: Grade M1 to M6. Full Time Salary: £34,069 to £46,940. Hours: 27.50 hours per week. Starting: 1 January 2027 A fantastic opportunity has arisen at St Mary’s CE Primary School! We are looking to recruit a passionate, caring and enthusiastic teacher who is able and willing to support, inspire and lead the brilliant children in our school. There is potential for future career development and wider experience as we seek to improve middle leadership skills and pupil outcomes within our Key Stage 2 teams. You will be joining a team that works cohesively, supporting every child and adult to flourish. Here at St Mary’s we offer a well-balanced, engaging and relevant curriculum, enabling our children to learn about their local environment and the ever-changing world they live in. We are fortunate to have extensive outdoor space and offer a wide range of curriculum enrichment through trips, visitors and extra-curricular activities. We are looking to appoint someone who:

Is an excellent teacher. Has proven experience in raising standards and improving pupil outcomes. Will work hard but have fun and enjoy working on our friendly, driven team. Is enthusiastic, approachable, and good humoured and will contribute positively to our school community. Makes effective use of positive behaviour management strategies. Is supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school. Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children.
