Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our Lower Key Stage 2 team. The successful candidate will: Have experience of teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally within a mixed-age Year 3/4 class.

Have a secure knowledge and understanding of the primary National Curriculum and expectations within Lower Key Stage 2.

Have high expectations for all pupils and be committed to helping every child make strong progress.

Establish clear routines and maintain high standards of pupil behaviour, creating a calm, positive and purposeful learning environment.

Be confident in planning and delivering engaging, well-sequenced lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

Work effectively as part of a phase team, contributing to shared planning, assessment and the development of the curriculum.

Be willing to share ideas, resources and expertise and work collaboratively with colleagues.

Use assessment effectively to identify gaps in learning and adapt teaching accordingly.

Understand how to support pupils with a range of needs, including SEND and disadvantaged pupils.

Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.

Be reflective, adaptable and keen to contribute to the wider life of the school.
