About the role

We are a happy school with a talented team of staff and thriving, enchanting children seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work in our Early Years classrooms. Experience is not essential as we are looking for the right person to support our children at the beginning of their learning journey with us. Training will be provided. We are a two-form entry school where 'curiosity hatches, creativity takes flight and learning soars to a sky of opportunity'. We are all B.I.R.D.S at THS - Brave learners, Independent and Inspirational learners, Resilient and Respectful, Determined and Scholarly. Could you be one of our BIRDS too? We have a full-time therapist as a Co-Deputy Head works both with the children but also offers supervision to all staff members We have specialised teachers for Sport, Music, MFL and Computing We have wonderful children who need great Teachers and TAs We have a rich and diverse parent/carer community who fully support the school We have a Whole School Wellbeing Support package, with access to private mental health support, 24/7 GP support, Counselling, physiotherapy, and an annual nurse-led health screen to name a few elements of this resource You are ambitious to take your career to the next level You have the highest expectations of our children and a desire to develop the whole child You have a keen interest on how Trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences impact learning (Hand on Heart) You have excellent interpersonal skills You embrace diverse communities and celebrate difference - We have a ‘No Outsiders’ policy here!
