Part of the Diocese of Norwich Education and Academies Trust Tel: 01502 713425 Email: clair.lowe@kingfisher.dneat.org Salary - Support Staff, Pay Point 5-6, £11,623 - £11,808 actual pa (£26,427 - £26,847 FTE) Permanent Part Time 19 hours per week Term Time plus 1 week Required ASAP Gillingham Church of England Primary Academy are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their wonderful collaborative team. Gillingham are also looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, which would run alongside the Teaching Assistant hours. We are looking for someone who is: Have a warm and empathetic nature Have experience of working within an educational setting Have experience of working with children, or relevant qualifications. Working Hours The exact working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate at interview but will fall within our academy hours of Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 3.15pm. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list. If you have information to declare it may be protected under the Exceptions Orders and you may not be required to declare it. You will be asked to make a criminal conviction declaration if you are shortlisted for the post. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
