About the role

Are you passionate about education and looking for a fulfilling career? We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant to join our community focused and supportive team at Lift Feversham, on a permanent basis. We are a friendly and helpful team who are open to applicants with experience within any key stage group. You're someone who'll be able to: Improve the learning and attainment of students while also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusionSupervise classroom activities and play Support speech and language interventions Support students so that they can; access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement Be a warm and friendly face to children and parents Be flexible to work across any area of the school as required You're someone who has Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification - advantageous if you have level 3. GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or above) Experience supporting children in any Key Stage including EYFS Knowledge of strategies to support pupils with SEND Familiarity with phonics programmes such as Read Write Inc Understanding of child development and how children learn Positive behaviour management experience UK right to work - we are unable offer sponsorship for this position We value the skills and dedication of our teaching assistants. To support the best outcomes for our students, we require a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). If you don't yet hold this qualification, don't worry! We'll invest in your development by enrolling you in our Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Programme, helping you gain the behaviours, skills and experience you need to thrive in the role.
